Aleesha Masud

Aleesha is a Computer Science and Business student at Toronto Metropolitan University with a passion for using technology to solve real-world business challenges. During her internship as a Software Analyst in the government sector, she gained hands-on experience in systems optimization and saw firsthand how large organizations leverage technology to improve public services. That experience sparked her interest in data analytics—an area she's now excited to explore further in her current role.

At TMU, Aleesha has been actively involved in student groups, where she values connecting with peers from diverse backgrounds and learning through open conversations. She recently led a financial literacy initiative on campus, deepening her understanding of personal finance—an area she believes deserves more attention in formal education.

Outside of school and work, Aleesha enjoys spending time in nature, discovering quiet corners of the city, and occasionally chasing an adrenaline rush (especially if a rollercoaster is involved). Naturally curious and always eager to learn, she’s constantly seeking new experiences and ideas.
