Ishaa Amir

Ishaa will be working as an Operations and Administrative Assistant at the DMZ. Her role aims to provide front-line support to multiple departments, keeping up to date with new information, providing customer service to internal and external stakeholders, and assisting with events at the DMZ. Ishaa is a second-year sociology student at TMU, as well as Co-President of TMU UX. UX, which stands for User Experience, is all about user-centric design and finding ways to develop ideas that are in the best interest of the consumer. These ideas can be applied to products, systems, or services, and include strategies for continuous improvement. Ishaa hopes to use what she's learned to one day have a company and design her own unique products. In her spare time, Ishaa loves to engage in thrill-seeking activities with friends, compete in design competitions, and shoot 4k videos for her social media.
